The Twinsburg Division of The Shelly Company is hard at work for this year's charities. The Shelly Company Community Action Team has chosen two different charities for 2008-2009.

Make-A-Wish Foundation - Walk For Wishes

The employees within The Shelly Company's Twinsburg Division have raised $9,945 for the Make A Wish Foundation. Several employees took part in the group's Walk for Wishes event at the Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo on June 28. This event raised more than $178,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation, which will be used to grant a wish of a child in the Cleveland region who has a life-threatening disease.

This event, held on June 28, 2008, raised over $178,000 which will be used to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions between the ages of 2 ½ to 18 to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

Multiple Scerosis Society

The Community Action team is switching gears and concentrating on fundraising for The Multiple Sclerosis Society. The group s first flower bulb sale is under way, and the group will host its second annual holiday raffle this fall. Thanks go out to everyone for their support!
